Bitmovers Maui
Bitmovers Maui is a project I worked on for about two years for my previous employer, Bitmovers. In short, it is a system whereby one develops applications written in Java which can automatically be deployed to Web, WAP, and Palm browsers.

Above you will see the same application being viewed on three different devices. Aside from being an API for applications, Bitmovers Maui is also an engine which includes an HTTP and HTTPS web server.

My involvement in the project included graphic design and API design and implementation. The core team over the course of a couple years consisted of Ian Wojtowicz, Chris Knight, and Dave Lapointe. Michael Wood, Salma Lalji, and Jamie Lubiner also contributed to the development team. Adelaide Evans, Shannon Kelly, Sean O'Mahony, and Larry Halff also played important roles in the overall development of Maui.

Maui was a great learning experience, and I had the opportunity to work with some very smart people. I certainly learned a lot about Java during this period.
